Overview

Full tuition up to ₹2 lakh a year plus academic allowance for SC students at premier institutes such as IITs, IIMs, NITs and AIIMS. Apply on the NSP by 31 October 2026.

Amount & Benefits

Full tuition and non-refundable fees, capped at ₹2,00,000 per year for private institutions.
Academic allowance of ₹86,000 in the first year and ₹41,000 in later years.

Eligibility

Applicants must: Belong to a Scheduled Caste; Have annual family income below ₹8,00,000 from all sources; Have a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate seat at a notified premier institution (IITs, IIMs, NITs, AIIMS, NLUs and similar), after Class 12 with 60% marks; Be one of at most two children per family availing the scheme.
