Heinrich Böll Foundation Doctoral Scholarship

A €1,650 monthly stipend plus mobility allowance for doctoral candidates pursuing a doctorate in Germany or the EU, with priority for applicants from DAC countries.

Applicants must: Be a German doctoral candidate pursuing a doctorate in Germany or the EU, or an international doctoral candidate (including refugees) seeking a doctoral position in Germany; Provide proof of German language proficiency, a social commitment reference and two expert reports. Candidates who completed undergraduate studies in their home country are especially encouraged, and priority goes to applicants from DAC countries residing in their home country at the time of application.
