Overview

Up to ₹20,000 per annum in allowance and tuition support for OBC post-matric students studying at government, local body or aided institutions in Karnataka.

Amount & Benefits

Professional UG/PG: ₹10,000 allowance + ₹10,000 tuition fees.
Other professional courses: ₹8,000 allowance + ₹5,000 tuition fees.
General UG/PG: ₹6,000 allowance + ₹2,000 tuition fees.
  • Post-matriculation: ₹5,000 allowance only.

Eligibility

Applicants must: Be an OBC-listed permanent resident of Karnataka; Be pursuing a post-matric course at a government/local body/aided institution; Have annual family income not exceeding ₹2,50,000 (Category 1) or ₹1,00,000 (Categories 2A/3A/3B); Have scored at least 60% (Category 1) or 70% (others) in the qualifying exam.
